In this section you can find out about how we teach Spanish at Down Hall.

At Down Hall Primary School,  we aim for all children to develop language learning skills in order to become all-round global citizens. Through learning a language, we endeavour to foster pupils’ curiosity and deepen their understanding of both the world around them and their own language.  Learning another language provides valuable opportunities to develop positive attitudes to and respect for languages and cultures other than their own.  

Spanish lessons are taught weekly in Key Stage 2.
