Our Special Events
Down Hall Primary and the 100,000 Postcard Challenge

At the beginning of term the children in Key Stage 1 and 2 entered the 100, 000 postcard challenge. Every child created a postcard with their own message about climate change. The postcards from Down Hall were part of 125,000 drawings and messages which were then displayed on the Aletsch Glacier in the Swiss Alps on Friday 16th November 2018.

Poppies for Remembrance at Holy Trinity Church, Rayleigh

The children have recently been busy creating poppies. Every child in school made their own and each year group created their poppies in different ways. The finished poppies were then taken to Holy Trinity Church and formed part of the display created for Remembrance. The poppies will be on display until mid November.
